Open Educational Resources (OER)

What are Open Educational Resources (OER)?

Open Educational Resources (OERs) for teaching and learning that are either in the public domain or have been released under a license that allows them to be freely used, changed, or shared with others. The short-term goal has been to reduce costs for students and accelerate their progress through college, but an important secondary impact is the culture change to create systems and structures that better connect curriculum and pedagogy to updated student learning outcomes.
